ELEMENT 5
Element 5 consists of youth ages 12-17. They are a dynamic bunch of young people who get together to exalt God in worship, experience the power of God in prayer, enjoy each other in fellowship, equip themselves with the Word in Sunday school and expose Jesus in them through evangelism. These five purposes lay the foundation for element 5’s ministry. They are designed and built around the Great Commission which is found in Matthew 28:19-20.
The first purpose, EVANGELISM, is sharing the Gospel with those who have yet to discover their relationship with Jesus Christ.
The second purpose, WORSHIP, is celebrating our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and is our main reason for existing.
The third purpose, FELLOWSHIP, is where Christians help to nurture and encourage each other.
The fourth purpose, DISCIPLESHIP, is the building up and strengthening of a Christian’s spiritual walk.
The final purpose, MINISTRY, is using the talents and gifts God bestowed to each and every one of us.
