Pastor Ed Snyder
Pastor Ed, originally from St. Louis, Missouri, has been in the ministry for over thirty (30+) years. Much of that time has been spent reaching for and building bridges to the “un-churched.” He believes in training through strong “discipleship.” He and his wife, Gayle, have traveled extensively preaching and teaching principles on church growth, soul winning, and discipleship. He is well known for his passionate ability to motivate and “rally the troops” when it is a cause in which he believes, and for his natural leadership style.
He has organized many crusades all across the United States, and has preached in several countries. He and his family together planted three churches in three states: Illinois, Missouri, and Virginia. He has been an administrative assistant figure to many renowned visionaries and men of God, who will tell you his strength is in his loyalty to those he serves.
Pastor Ed’s preaching is considered “high octane” and his Bible Studies are known for being “real” and “down to earth,” sharing Bible truths with simplicity and enthusiasm. He and his family have recently relocated to San Jose to share in the ministry of East Valley’s Pastoral Team and in the ministries of assimilation and growth (MAG). Here at East Valley, we don’t want to just help you come to God, we want to help you grow in grace and knowledge, and help you discover your value and worth in the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Ed and his family have always loved the West Coast, and their children were born in California, so they are quickly settling into their new home. He and his wife, Gayle, have two children, Mariah and Marcus. They look forward to spending their future right here in the beautiful south bay area, working with the growing congregation and ministries of East Valley Pentecostal Church. He feels privileged to work with the church’s visionary Lead Pastor, Rodney Nelson, whom he respects and admires for his impeccable character and innate ability to look ahead. They both look forward to meeting you very soon, right here at East Valley Pentecostal Church, where the door is always open to welcome you.
