MEDIA Ministries
East Valley Pentecostal Church offers a wide variety of media ministries and has been blessed with state of the art audio, video, and lighting equipment, providing superior excellence in East Valley's technical media. Our media team's mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by creating a dynamic environment for authentic worship and effective communication, while developing genuine community with one another. Their goal is to fully equip other ministries of the church, to expand through the media ministry, as a worship and outreach tool. This media support provides a deeper dimension to the worship experience overall. They assist the church body, visually, and audibly, allowing spiritual seekers to develop into ministers of Christ.

The use of video and presentation media in the church sanctuary allows the EVPC music leaders and pastoral staff to connect with the congregation on a higher level. Many people consider themselves visual learners, even more then verbal. Another application point is as a supplement to those who use sign language to translate the singing and sermon for the hearing impaired. It also exists to extend our message beyond the church walls by producing media resources of live services, including DVD's and CD's. It is our belief that this ministry is becoming an indispensable part of the EVPC experience.
As far as hardware, we are using a Eiki 12,000 ansi lumens LCD video projector on a 16 ft. wide (Daylight) motorized screen high speed digital data transfer cable (cat-five). Also, we use multiple computers for graphics' and text, along with Digital Juice graphics' suit for the full motion videos. Our video team is trained to operate four Sony PMW-EX1 cameras which all run through a Slate-100 Broadcast Pix switcher.
AUDIO
Our audio engineers are trained in the theory of live sound engineering, and are capable of running a state of the art 48,000 watt way surround sound system. There are two 44 channel, 12 bus mixing Soundcraft consoles on the platform and house, as well as sending dry sound to the multimedia recording studio. Outside of the auditorium we send the mix to over 150 speakers so no matter where you are you on the campus you hear the service.

The purpose of the Lighting Department is to supply the proper lighting for all services held within East Valley Pentecostal Church. Though unseen, this ministry will literally light the way for all events held under the EVPC church facility. This is an ever-growing part of the Technical Department and will prove to be a vital asset to this organization.
Our lighting technicians operate a state of the art Leprecon theatrical lighting system which consists of 62 fixtures, controlled through a 250 channel lighting console. We use theatrical lighting throughout our services to enhance visibility and effects for choirs, groups, and concerts.
Our most recent addition to our lighting Department has been our Jands HOG 500 lighting console. The flexibility and functional range of the HOG 500 makes it ideal for handling the entire spectrum of lighting design, from complex to theatrical dramas, to structured church services and events. The Jands HOG 500 currently operates six Coemar Intelligent lighting fixtures, and two Roscoe Delta 3000 fog machines. The Coemar Intelligent lighting fixtures include 360 degree panning and 180 degree tilting operation, two separate color wheels per fixture, and two separate gobo wheels per fixture. Each fixture is designed to give the sanctuary full lighted motion, sixteen colors, sixteen lighted pattern designs, and full control of focus, iris capacity, and a number of sequenced lighting effects. The end result is fantastic lighting effects for dramas, special events, and a nice controlled setting for church services!
